I’m considering springs for the FL5 and, currently, I’m running the ITS ADS module. I’m leaning towards the Eibach Pro-Kit. While looking at these, I noticed that they are one of the few brands that make separate springs sets for the DE5 ITS. I’m assuming they may use different spring rates due to the damping difference between the FL5 and DE5? Or is there something else different on these.

My question is, since I’m running the DE5 ADS, should I do the DE5 spring set or do the FL5 set?

Swift Spec R Sport springs are the better move IMO. if you want street and track performance. the Eibach can be teeth rattling tight on the street. fwiw but this is only my opinion, based on info from track guys running both.

I had heard swift were more uncomfortable on the street. 😂

Maybe before they switched from 2 types to one. there was a "Spec-R" and a "Sport" version. now there is only Spec-R Sport Springs and they're designed for street and occasional track. If you had the Spec-R for street, before they switched to the single version, yeah... they were tight AF. I believe Evasive motorsports sells 30 sets or each single set of Eibach springs for the CTR. thats according to the sales team over there.

Update on this: I spoke to someone at Eibach. Despite having different part numbers, the FL5 and DE5 springs are actually identical. They only separate the part numbers to track sales between the two models. Who knew?

That being said, I do believe that Swift’s DE5 springs are actually a different spring rate than the FL5.

Got another update: I spoke with someone at Swift and they recommended using FL5 springs even if you have the DE5 ADS module. The primary difference between their FL5 and DE5 springs is a slight height difference to compensate for the different body shapes.
