I responded to you via PMWow so mine must not be fully in then. Where did you get the HRC strap and how did you screw it into the EVS Rod?

Big fan of Garmin Catalyst as well. I’ve found that it’s very easy to use, with a simple interface and just the right amount of data — at least for beginner like me. A bit pricey but totally worth it IMO.What kind of gadgets you guys use the check how much you guys doing lap times with and data
I have a setup that's evolved over time but I wouldn't really recommend it - currently I use an OBD2 BT dongle for engine data, with a Racebox Mini for GPS data, integrated through an older Android tablet running RaceChrono Pro (which also gives me the real-time display), and an external camera for overlays. It works, but there are inevitably instances where something isn't talking to the tablet, which can be incredibly frustrating in grid. What kind of gadgets you guys use the check how much you guys doing lap times with and data
I also have catalyst. Its great for sure but its 1 grand. I think Id not buy it unless I am doing a bunch of track days a year, I do just a few and phone + gps stand alone and harrys laptimer would be just fine. However if you have 1 grand laying around lol catalyst is greatWhat kind of gadgets you guys use the check how much you guys doing lap times with and data
I knew you would like track days. So when’s the next track day?I just did Track Night In America at Lime Rock in the intermediate class and it was a mixed experience. I only have 1 season of autocross, and 1 instructed day at NJMP under my belt thus far so I was pretty apprehensive to do intermediate. But I figured, I felt pretty good with point by's, safety and awareness that I'll be fine, and ultimately it's not a race. Turned out to be an amazing experience and glad I didn't do novice. 1. I was fast for intermediate on the day I was probably second fastest behind a G87 M2 and 2. You only get 3 sessions total, but novice group does one full session of slow paced laps (30mph) also, there are no instructors anyway. Admittedly, I thought all HPDE's were run the same I didn't know instructors weren't always required in novice. group. But it turned out to be a win for me.
The car performed pretty well but it was hot, around 80-85 ambient. I'd only get a few hot laps before the oil temp would creep into the 260s and id back down. Frustrating. I remembered to turn the heater on which did help but it was already too hot and needed a cool down. I think it probably was heat soaking too on my push laps. I managed a 1:06 (with the cars oil temp in the 260s) which I don't feel was the best I could've done on the day... if only I had that 3rd session
For anyone who hasn't been to Lime Rock it's a really fun track, the on camber turns and elevation change is cool the way it loads the car up with or without grip
