projecting to a gt future w/ bride armrests, would like to maximize interior volume & minimize plastic.

assuming you’d trade cup holders for the acuity shifter, what is involved in rehousing the brake hold / drive mode - any vendors in this space or would it be a one off?

any other functional issues or holes in carpet under to be aware of?

I suggest you pull it so you can see what it looks like - it's very easy to do. You'd need a fair amount of custom work to cleanup the area at the front IMO. Aside from the buttons you'd also need to rehome a key detection sensor, I don't think that would be a big deal but just an "FYI". A custom aluminum or 3D panel at the front could be made I'm sure and both cleanup the area as well as home everything. Could be a cool project for sure.

Have you sat in Bride seats? IME they are ultranarrow, have terrible quality cushions, and offer zero lumbar support. They do hold you in good though but so do the OEMs.

Do you mean brides in general or the Euroster 2? I rode in bride buckets at a car meet in California and that’s right, but the euroster are more ergonomic - I’ve not sat in them but the combo of: arms, heated cushion, full suede back — compare to the 3d printed plastic looking ctr stock seats

The Euroster is probably much less restrictive, I had edirB 032 and man I barely fit at 5'7" 150lbs. The back/bottom cushions were cheap 1" open cell foam and the back had zero lumbar contour. The seat did look nice as hell.

The Euroster is built more like an OEM seat, I think, so probably avoids the issues of their more sporty models that use a shell design and removable cushions.

?? What part appears 3D printed? I have a 3D printer, and I don't see that on these seats.
