Fortunate enough that I dont have to starve myself for this car.

But for sure! Going to treat this as a nice toy.

Borderline robbery. But probably the only one in Vancouver I can get right now.

That's straight up robbery, but I get it.

The price of the carbon fiber spoiler has doubled in price, it's crazy. I'd try to get them to remove some stuff (what is pre-delivery preparation?) but if you're okay with paying it then go for it.

Wow, that’s some hosing. What’s with all the $695 fees. I love the car, but don’t know if I could accept all of that.

I did have to pay for some mandatory add ons too. Ceramic, front ppf, mats and trunk tray. But 5k for the spoiler? 600 for the shift knob? Crooks

And yet here I am with my CF wing unable to sell it 🤣

The price of all the stuff they've added was inflated to stupid prices. $600 for shift knob, $1000 for the steering wheel, $200 for OEM wheel locks etc. are all terribly priced and you could get them for much cheaper. If that stuff isn't installed or added to the car yet, see if you can get them to take it off the sheet. Warranty wise, I would get wheel and tire. Get them to remove the carbon wing and buy from @Apex Carver for cheaper.

Without other dealers competing for your business, walking away is one of your only chips to get them to come down on the price.

but tread lightly not to sour the relationship if you want to buy the car

Not sure which dealership you're working with but Carter Honda seemingly has a CW. A lot of us in Canada had to go to other provinces to get car because of difficulty with local dealerships. BC and Alberta were unfortunately the worse.

Wow, I didnt notice that they had a new one. Going to quickly call them right now.

Edit - Unavailable and sales told me its very likely that that will be their last one

They are charging you 2 sets of floor mats?

To be honest, I haven’t seen many dealers in Vancouver selling this car for under 60k, with most of them asking for 70k and eventually it will sell. You may able to get a better deal if you have something to trade-in tho, but chances are they will just lowball you on that and forcing less add-on to the R.

At 60k, I guess most ppl will jump on it without much thoughts. At 70k, it’s where you start to think if it’s really worth it.
