Crickets on my end, only followed up with my dealer once back in June when that summer shipment dropped. Anticipated I'd be along for the ride when I put the deposit down and never even expected to get one from the beginning. Albeit I'm still hopeful and excited, hell it'll feel more like winning the lottery if I do get one, but then I'll be the one paying LMAO.

I recently got an SUV, was looking at Toyota and Honda, ended up getting the Toyota. Honda dealer emailed me a few weeks ago asking me if they can help me with anything and I was like ya actually I'm looking for a CTR at MSRP, let's just say I'll probably never hear from that guy again haha :p
Nice what SUV did you end up going with? For a long while Toyota was ridiculously back ordered on vehicles, im not sure how they're doing now, but I know a ton of Hondas are just sitting on CRVs lol.

We got the Highlander, so far so good. It took about 5 months for it to come in. We were looking at Pilot too, but they raised the price a little too much for our liking on the new pilot. I think base is like 60K MSRP.

Actually, I'm wrong the one we wanted was 60k, we didn't want the base which was 53k. We really wanted the captain seats 2nd row :p

11th Gen Honda Civic Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want IMG_3957

Bro they send text msgs “in the morning”. Always make me jump out the bed with the notifications not showing the whole context. This was just couple days ago. ?

nothing over here either, i am keeping an eye out on both American and Canadian sites for 2024MY they just did their media announcement for the 2024 Passport but the sites didn't update yet... just looking to see what pricing they update...i feel once we see the sites update then we can anticipate some updates or movement

Good choice! I dont think you could've gone wrong either way, but I agree Hondas product pricing across the board seems to be a little off base lately. 5 months is pretty damn good, took us almost a year to get my wife's '23 Camry Hybrid, worth the wait but crazy for a commuter car that isnt limited production.

I think ApecR mentioned MY24s should be hitting US dealerships/on-site no earlier than December. So I'm guessing pricing updates should happen soon.

yepp although the US never had an issue of supply just ADM so i wouldn't be surprised if they get MY 2024 and we are still sitting waiting

The only update I got from my dealer is that they have a vehicle coming but don’t know when, all the representative from Honda Canada told them, and they told me was that the car will be here before April?

I’d take it as good news, better than not hearing anything at all. I have someone looking for a new car on Tuesday, and recommended my dealership. Going in with her and going to inquire on the Type R. Not expecting anything, I’ve resolved myself to thinking that it’ll likely be Spring/Summer next year, based when they received their last 2 cars.

With my FL5 allocation being a late 2025 (last one the dealership is expected to get), I was able to get an allocation for a 2024 DE5 which should be here in 3-6 months.
I figure I'll either keep both, or be able to make a well informed decision on which one I'll choose to keep for the long term.

After seeing a few DE5s in person, I'm really liking the styling

I got an email today, nothing significant but something....that last part is quite interesting...take a look

That's very interesting.

I read on Car and Driver that Porsche was looking to do that with a limited edition model coming out to avoid the flippers. Personally, I'm all for it but I'm curious as to what else is going to be involved in order for that to work. Good that your dealership is giving you that information ?
