I seen a white one in Oakville and another white in Blue Mountain parked on my street

Other than that, it's been dealers or events.

I haven't heard anything from my dealer in Mississauga but I am guaranteed a car but haven't been given the actual colour yet although build was to be white.

At this point, I have lost interest because it is super frustrating so the excitement will come once I receive the call

400 CTRs at the Yokohama port:

i am assuming if any.of these cars bound to vancouver port or canada people should have gotten a call from their dealer by now, but since most of us waiting didnt i have little hope in them coming to canada...as i understand it the manufacturer assigns vin when the car goes on the production line and thats when dealers get the vin and make calls to their customers and about 4 to 6 weeks later the car is at the dealership ...that means the car takes about a week or less to be made and 3 to 4 weeks being transported...i could be wrong but this is what i think

Somehow I have a feeling that process isnt being adhered to in Canada. Seems like no Canadians have received VINs in advance, it sounds more like they get a call that the car is in Canada or has shown up at the dealership.

good point, that could be because sales rep aren't on top of it they are too busy selling CRVs and Civics but i cant be sure because i haven't gone through the process myself a few on here shared their experience some got a call 3 weeks in advance and some like you said were told the car is here

Yeah im totally just speculating based on other peoples experiences. I just dont remember anyone, at least in this Canadian group, ever mentioning they got a VIN. Which to me is absolutely ridiculous, every other car buying experience I've had, I've been given a VIN when the car went into build.

Hells yea, I was at my parents house recently and unearthed a ton of my old PASMAGS ans ImportTuners lol. Dannie was def FINE, there were so many back then lol.

Its crazy how the scene has changed so much, at least in Toronto, its almost non existent. Do they even still so Darknights at the Markham Fair Grounds?

Oh wow thats sketchy, is it new or used? They dont even have it listed in their inventory.
Haha that’s awesome, I have to PASMAG stuff as well. Good times! Just got back from the show, wasn’t bad but not as crazy as the last time I was there. I left before the evening show so could’ve seen but I’m too old. Good showing of cars but no FL5 :(

Yeah I think that’s been the case. At least with the few that know of, the dealership wasn’t aware of the car until the car showed up, and then the buyer was contacted. Definitely not the norm but goes to show that the car isn’t a priority for dealerships

I’ve seen white ones (maybe the same FL5 multiple times) on a few occasions here in Vancouver. With how rare these are, I’m not sure I’d daily-drive mine either if I get my allocation in - Could just be a weekend toy for me forever.
That’s what mine is. Comes out once or twice a week, typically on weekends.

I drive it every chance I get lol. If I didn’t bike as much as I do I’d never drive my Gladiator!
My workplace has a gravel parking loft, soit never comes in with me. It seems like every weekend this summer has been rain. It’s been a grocery getter for the most part, but I’ve never had so much fun doing groceries before.

Right! Lol.

I’m taking the top off my Jeep this week so I’ll be putting mileage on that for the next bit.

I do an average of 17,000km per year, so 8,500km split. That means I’d like to not put more than 3,000km more on the Civic.

I never drive it in the rain but the problem is it never rains here.

Ohh I think it’s sold now or they took it down. It was there and it was a used car. Didn’t note the mileage though. I see roadsport Honda and scarsview Chrysler has a used cw for $80k lol. Ridiculous

Ah cool, I just thought they were trying to sell it under the table or something sketchy lol. Saw the roadsport and scarsview ones, at least the scarsview only has like 145kms on it, but damn its crazy that people are getting antsy and pulling the trigger at $80k+ "used".
