Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

i have only seen 2 FL5s on the road west end of GTA Milton Oakville Burlington area, I have a feeling alot of the FL5s were sold to private dealers and they are sprinkling them on auto trader at 79k+ or some collectors that buy 2 or 3 cars a year and trade and auction privately, there are only a handful of folks with FL5s that are active in the community hopefully once i get mine i get to meet some of them

I've seen a slow trickle of used FL5's on AT ranging from 100km to 8k and wondered who all these people are that are letting go so soon LOL. I understand living situations change, maybe the switch to a dedicated 5 seater, or maybe financial woes, but it seems unreal to me. I would absolutely believe that dealers held on to these only to sell used.

I’ve only seen 1 on the road last June in my favorite color.

And these were taken at the Vancouver Driven Show. You can never go wrong with the colors available. But never thought I'd prefer 19s than 18s on this car. I guess 18s with meaty tires would do, but 19s just look so perfect on this car.

I’ve seen 2 in Dallas in like 3 months. Not a single seen in Canada.

I know in the beginning dealerships in Canada were "supposedly" fulfilling customer orders based on allocations. Do you think customer interest had any bearing on color production?
Its weird that red is the rarest since the cars they unveiled originally were the white and red.

It does, red is the least requested color, Red was also one of the rarest colors for the FK8. It’s also the hardest color to sell, regardless of if the car is a regular civic or Type R. Red sits the longest

I think a good chunk of those people got enticed of the unexpected financial gain. Tbh, I’ve been tempted to let mine go with the current market strictly for the financial gain, but can’t bring myself to do it. I love the car too much, and I know I will likely never be able to attain one again.

Hells yea, I was at my parents house recently and unearthed a ton of my old PASMAGS ans ImportTuners lol. Dannie was def FINE, there were so many back then lol.

Its crazy how the scene has changed so much, at least in Toronto, its almost non existent. Do they even still so Darknights at the Markham Fair Grounds?
