they do not, they use wheel speed/ABS to measure tire diameter and thus infer tire pressures

And not sure this works. I had a nail with air leak and I only noticed cuz I saw the nail and checked the pressure. Was pretty low with 0 notifications on the dash. So check your pressures regularly.

Interesting, maybe you’re right. I had a very slow leak on my left front and I managed to catch it before it got too low (~25 psi), can remember how I caught it, would have swore it was from the pressure monitoring system but maybe not

This happened to my friend as well. He got a puncture while out driving and there was no notification at all. Fortunately he noticed when he got home and got the car towed to the dealership.

I've called for all of the cars that came up in my area. They've all been sold months ago. It seems the only way to get one without paying ADM is get on the list for 2026
