I bought the craftsman digital torque wrench. Personally I like digital torque wrenches because its hard to tell the specific ftlbs rating on some wrenches. Eliminates the guess work and it tells you when to stop.
I got it during fathers day when it was on sale, and it seems like its still on sale which is great.

@sugarl4nd What torque wrench are you using now? Hard to tell if we’re giving you good upgrade options if we don’t know your starting point. :)

I’m using a good, but otherwise basic Tekton torque wrench. Does the job, but does take a little bit of fidgeting to be sure I set it correctly.

Yep, be careful with impact wrenches if you don’t want your lug nuts to get chewed up.

I suggest getting a narrow socket with a nylon outer cover. There's not a lot of room in the holes in the OEM wheels. It's easy to scratch the wheel paint.

Anything Harbor Freight is good enough. Pick up some wheel lug sockets at the same time and call it a day. If you want decent quality, the Icon beam type torque wrench is nice as well as Tekton (might be the same wrench). My first choice was Precision Instruments but I had a coupon that made the Icon super attractive.

If I have one complaint about the Tekton it’s that you have to be careful that the set screw stays in place while in use, because the rotating torque adjustment is built into the handle grip. What can happen is that the mechanism can rotate (out of the desired spec) if the set screw is not completely tight/secure. Note, I don’t have experience with other torque wrenches. Perhaps this is a pretty standard mechanism, but I felt it is worth mentioning. It seems some of the more expensive torque wrenches are better in this regard.
