Added an ambient light strip to my dash and currently have it plugged into the lighted door trim plug. However this results to the light only being on while the doors are open or before you start the car. Does anyone know a good fuse to tie into so they are on when you unlock and when you are driving?

I think @Chilly613 or someone else here posted a how-to on adding interior lighting by tieing it into the footwell lighting, but my memory is foggy.

Cool! Good to know I wasn’t imagining things. I would think that adding ambient dash lights could easily be connected the same way. Your footwell lights stayed on, even after closing the doors, right?
Yup they pretty much stayed on the whole time. I followed everything that person laid out and used the same fuse that powered on with accessory power so it was always on when the car was in accessory mode or on, but I dont think they came on when the doors opened.
