YES! You’re going to love it!

When u get there I’d push and say you’ll take the car home tonight if it’s $1500 over. Be ready to start walking. If it doesn’t go your way you could always take their $3k deal and pickup the car the next day

Happy holidays

I'd have to fly in and back lmao. I'm in Columbus, I'd be flying over to Chicago. 3K lowest they're willing to go. if it was 2.5k mark up or less I'd do it instantly.

Voss Honda in Tipp City has a '24 in Championship White on the way--allegedly selling at MSRP with nobody waiting.

@34631-fk8 posted it on Monday, said ask for Anthony in New Car Sales.
just called the dude, I appreciate the link. HE JUST SOLD IT GG

Any talk of more in the pipeline? Have you tried Roush Honda? I bought mine there with Cameron at MSRP + PPF and he said they're getting a steady flow of allocations since they sell them so quickly (possibly Honda rewarding a MSRP dealership).

MSRP on a '24 is $1,000 higher than MSRP on the '23, so at a $3k markup on a '23, it's a little more like a $2k markup unless you weigh value of a '23 vs a '24. Black will also cost $500 less since it's not a premium paint option.

See if the dealer in Chicago will come down $500-$750 since you have to fly in and drive the car back, both cost money. I'd keep trying to negotiate that one.

I think with Roush originally they didn't offer MSRP but I'll check in with them again. I know Honda Marysville does MSRP, my little brother works there. Just haven't had the color I've wanted in yet.

Dealership in Chicago is very solid on the 3k ADM, I've tried a lot. It was 5k and they finally said 3k cause they have a white one coming and want to put it in the show room. I think I will be patient and wait for MSRP.

IF anyones in Chicago and wants the Type R. 3k Mark up.

I'm not sure if Roush was ever anything but MSRP, though they've had a long waitlist and the PPF package isn't exactly cheap ($1200, if I'm not mistaken, but they're not profiting off the PPF and it's good stuff from the A-pillars forward, door cups, and mirror caps).

I made many attempts to work with Honda Marysville, but everyone I spoke with there insisted they don't take deposits on their Type-R's, won't make a waiting list, and will not pre-sell them to anyone... but every allocation they had coming in was somehow sold before arrival. Their salespeople couldn't explain how it was possible or who was buying them, and management never called to explain. It's been several months now, so this might've changed (or having a sibling who works there may help), but I personally won't buy from them.

A dealer in KY that has a Boost Blue 24 coming told me they will do MSRP + TTL on it. I already bought a white 23. If you want this, PM me and I'll share the sales guys info. You can toss me a lunch gift card or something if you buy it LOL.

Damn if only it was Black or White :(

I know they don’t take deposits, I think it depends on the sales person. I know some are more shady than others but they are technically not suppose to take it from my understanding. My little brother told me some sales people there just reach out to people who are interested and get them sold as soon as they hit the lot but I guess it depends who you talk to. I personally don’t wanna buy one there either but MSRP is MSRP lmao.

Honestly, I don’t blame you one bit.

If someone said, “The Grinch is selling this FL5 at MSRP and will use the profits to ruin Christmas,” I’d probably say, “There’ll be another Christmas, you should probably get that car.”

If dealerships in Chicago are marking up prices by $3k, it likely indicates a sense of desperation. Just a few months ago, nearly all of them were adding markups of $10k or more.

Best bet is for people to look for 2023's now because nearly everyone around New England are selling high ADM again for 24's
