Folks who overpaid for this car are hoping for it to be “limited “ to feel better about it. It’s already been estimated that there will be over 10k FL5’s in the US over its production run. Honda isn’t going to design the car, retool a car factory and not sell as many of them as they can.

And folks who want to buy one for MSRP want the opposite. When it comes to numbers it’s all speculation at this point.

Canada is getting just over 500 cars over its run, which is not a lot. I’m pretty sure somewhere on this forum back in the summer the production numbers were posted for Canada and the US. I can’t see Canada being limited and the US having the production taps turned wide open.

I’m under the impression that Honda purposely is intending to keep these numbers low for whatever reason. The last ICE CTR is my guess.

My feeling is that given the worlds state of political unrest/Covid/supply chain constraints, I wouldn’t gamble on the whole wait and see approach if you really want to get into an FL5. I think there is a stronger possibility of them becoming more rare than more readily available.

With that being said I’m not suggesting people suck it up and pay the retarded ADM’s either, but if you can get one at a reasonable ADM I don’t think it’s going to bite you in the ass long term either.
