I'm on a waitlist at a MSRP dealership but I'm #50 in line. I already paid the deposit but I'm wondering if I'll ever get one before the end of production.

We have every right to shame. They’re artificially inflating the price. If everyone decided not to pay markups, they wouldn’t be any.

Let's be real, the people who don't want others to pay markups are doing so for their own self interest. LoL, they can't afford it or don't want to pay it, but want the car, so expect others to play along to better their own selfish intent.

Sorry, but everyone for themselves, can't play with the big boys, go buy a Kia, or a Fiat.

Ya, getting pretty sick and annoyed by this constant back and forth. Pretty much taking the gloves off at this point. People just love to complain when things don't go their ways.

Unless its the largest volume dealer in the world, that's probably a hard no. If they are like most dealers getting 3-4 or even 7-8 a year, would mean you'd probably get it in 2030.

I will say if Honda keeps sitting on info, I'm just gonna go buy the lowest mileage LE I can find and say F Honda on the FL5. They've left all their customers wondering what the hell is happening and continue to let doubt swirl as to how many units, how many years etc. Its all total bullshit at this point. Why reveal something at all, if it has to be so slowly bc you lack the capacity to launch it with any real volume. Garbage move by a company that has ALWAYS been my favorite, but is losing me fast.

Detroit Auto Show, I firmly believe that is when details will release. Sept 14th - 15th.

I just don't understand. If Honda has always been your favorite then you would see and know this is nothing new.

The dealer told me 3-5 years so it sounds a bit optimistic. I guess I will hold onto my spot for now and see how far down the list I'll be in a year's time. Maybe by the time it gets to me they'll have an LE final edition for sale. One can dream...

Nah, its not the same. Previous years didn't cast doubt on their ability to actually even produce the car. Then you have company execs in different markets talking about how super limited it will be etc etc. Supply chain issues coupled with the hype have made it feel much more drawn out and more of a beating then previous go rounds.

It's just the car market right now tbh. GRC, Golf R, new M2, M3, M4, CT4, CT5, C8. All sought after cars by all manufacturers are going through the same thing.

Hold onto every spot you can. It will come eventually at some dealer, and if it's 6-12 months from now alot of these guys will have bought Corollas and BMWs. Not every one of the 49 in front of you will answer the phone or respond in time.
