Use Google translate. Person writing the article received their car in Japan with serial number hitting 4 digits. Seems to be higher than 400/mo quoted for Japan, so could be international or they've increased output. We know 350 are in US and a few hundred more are on their way, plus all the dealer cars in Japan.

Anyone know if serial numbers are international or something else?
Yes, production was said to be higher than expected via bestcar japan. Initial target is 6k by april and then ramping to 10k. Production seems double the original target of 400 per month.

From civicxi board-

According to lastest release from Bestcar Magzine Japan, they said "Telephone surveys were conducted at 10 Areas in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Yokohama, Saitama, Chiba, Tochigi, Gunma, Hokkaido.... Certainly, if you simply add up the number of orders received by phone from salespeople at 10 bases, it easily exceeds 3,000 units... but there are about 2,100 Honda dealers (including directly managed Honda dealers)"
Translated directly by Google

“the production volume of this fiscal year until April 2023 is likely to be 6000 units. However, according to the latest information, there is also information that the production will be increased to 10,000 units.”

I'm in Canada my dealer told me they are guaranteed one CTR for first round of orders. He said he will hopefully know more soon. He will try to get me SGP but obviously that can't be guaranteed.

And what are you guys talking about here. Golf r in Canada costs 47k CAD, I will gladly buy a CTR at 47k CAD. Maybe prices are diff in USA ;p but golf r here doesn't cost 55k cad.
Golf R loads out at 52k.

Also…what part of Canada are? Cause if I get SGP I’ll happily trade your for the CW or RR. No joke.

I'm in Halifax, but I highly doubt it would be that easy to trade, but let's wait and see what happens.

Why? More than 60% is living paycheck to paycheck. Just because your neighbor paid 10k over for a kia suv doesn't mean you have to follow the herd and make the same mistake. Just because everyone else is doing it is just a awful excuse.
Yeah, man! If you're poor and have no reserves, seek MSRP. Don't eat ramen every day and ruin your health! It will cost more later in the future.

I'm settling with 60k+ but first, nasdaq needs to hit 12000 XD

Maybe someone should do a poll here. I am personally willing to pay 0$ over MSRP :p
