Interesting. I didn't contact my dealer but from what we're seeing in the responses I think there was a bit of a game of "telephone" which led someone to believe that there was a public lottery vs. an internal change to the Honda Canada-to-dealer allocation system. It really does sound like dealers have to fight get cars, and the bigger ones may have more clout. Perhaps Honda changed how they were handling allocations internally to make things more equitable (i.e. a lottery), but maybe we'll never know that for sure. FWIW, I was also told that Honda Canada wanted my dealer to show them a signed tentative sales agreement and deposit on hand as part of them trying to get a car. They are a mid to large size GTA dealer in Ontario.

Yeah he said core and everything was pushed. I have no deposit or anything. I just asked about their GRC’s because I heard October. He said they won’t have one until March. Who knows ??‍

He might be confusing the general core release with the CE by the sounds of it. DVN the largest dealer in canada is expecting first core in November

I had put a deposit down in April, then in July/August they asked for a signed tentative agreement (basically a sales agreement with many fields TBD). They said they needed it to show corporate. I don't know if this was a system wide change or again, just something they wanted for their own internal purposes... Who knows. We'll know more soon hopefully.

honda won't do anything else...until media gets their cars for drives, then price will roll out

yea, road and track had one but gave us zero info they were too busy jacking off over the z06 and gt4rs lol

once raiti, matt, doug get their hands on it...we will see it soon after
