For anyone that's curious how this looks:

How are you liking the DWS06+? I'm leaning towards buying them, but could you comment on road noise and snow / cold wet performance?

Are DWS06+ directional tires or not? I couldn't really find any info on the Continental site

Imped, what’s the offset on those?
38 offset. Visually, it's *perfect* and I haven't been able to discern any difference in torque steer or response. I'm extremely pleased with this setup.

I've run this tire on my previous Golf R and absolutely, positively adore them. It's truly a tire that I enjoy running year round, whether it's 85* and sunny, 45* and rainy or 15* and snowy. Low road noise, nice ride quality, fantastic wet and dry traction. They are not directional, but there is an "inside" and "outside."

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, that's what I've been hearing and reading.

Looks fantastic. Stock suspension / ride height? Any issues w. rubbing?
Yes, still on the stock springs. I've owned the car for 5 days and 300 miles. ;)

No rubbing whatsoever.

Just bought this exact combo for my FL5!
Same here, best part was ~8lb weight difference over stock wheels. I weighed all 8 wheels as I swapped and was shocked how much lighter this combo was over stock. No complaints whatsoever!

The car has been driving fantastically in the cold, wet conditions. I'm still very happy with the setup.

Hi, I have a bone stock USDM 2025 Type R.
I am NOT going to lower the suspension NOR swap to Acura electronic damper.
I am trying to make my Type R comfortable and (almost) practical for 200+ mile Cross-Texas highway drives.

Anyone know how a
Rays / Volk ZE40 18 x 8.5 +45 offset on 265/45 R 18 tire would fit?

Also, I know this is crazy, but what about a...
Rays / Volk ZE40 18 x 8.5 +30(!!!) offset on 265/45 R 18 ???

Is 45 Sidewall too tall? Is +30 Offset too wide?

I want to make sure there are no rubbing issues with OEM Type R suspension and damper in Comfort mode.
