I just recently ordered a set of Apex VS-5s and realized I forgot to check if I could use the stock lug nuts with them or not. If not, what lug nut specs do we need for Apex wheels on these cars?

OEM lug nuts will not work. You will need 60degree conical aftermarket lug nuts. I believe they are M14x1.5 for the Type-R.

Thank you for jumping in, @rst3b! Yes @MatthewakaMatt you will need to purchase aftermarket 60° conical lug nuts in M14x1.5mm as the OEM lug nuts are ball seat and will not safely work with most aftermarket wheels, including ours.

This is fire! Are these ET45? What brand and size tire did you go with? Any other pics? Looks lowered - any suspension details you can provide would be appreciated too!
These are ET45, correct. The car is not lowered and is using the stock PS4s tires.

Anyone have or seen pics of Brushed Clear on a CW? preferably VS-5RS'
also a 18x10.5 +47 rub? Looking to fit a profile 3 face for the concavity.

Looks so good
Is the car lowered ?
Nope, not lowered at all! Slightly higher sidewall (35 vs the oem 30), but the fit really fills out the wheel well greatly. I haven't experienced any rubbing. People generally seem to recommend downsizing to 18's and doing meatier tires, but I am very happy with the 19's. Probably sacrificing a little more comfort by not going to 18's, but I was already used to the oem ride anyways.

Did going to a taller sidewall change the steering feel of the car? I wonder if I should opt for a stiffer sidewall tire to compensate for that for my next set.

I've only had them on for about a month. I didn't notice a significant change, but I do think they are slightly more forgiving than the oem tires. Steering wise I didn't notice any change so far.
