  1. My experience with Black Hawk Japan post tariffs and de minimis exemption

ah fascinating. good to know! i may use dixcel for street pads. I'm sort of a die hard endless pad guy so I was hoping to continue using blackhawkjapan to get endless pads for the 2026 track season... and googling shows some folks are being hit with 50% (!!!) tariffs
  2. My experience with Black Hawk Japan post tariffs and de minimis exemption

Has anyone ordered brake pads thru blackhawkjapan? are they taxed properly via ups, or is it a giant pain in the ass?
  3. Pinch Weld Lift Pads - ZL1 vs Versus

Just recently got a 5000TLX. I have a question for you guys with QJ's. I've been using the 'tall blocks' (the one that comes with the QJ's that looks like lego bricks). My question is - when you raise the QJ, and when the front pads are about to touch the front pinch weld jack points, I go to...
  4. Winter Driving? Get Rock/Mudguards

I also run FX3D mud flaps. Does anyone know how to better prevent both front/rear fenders from getting hit up so hard with dirt? It's not like i'm going off roading, but it accumulates very quickly :P and the mud flaps don't really do anything there.
  5. SIM RACING *Junkie Thread*

I've used the cheapest rigmetal (they're local to me fortunately, i picked it up from the owner same day) for a little over a year now, 0 regrets, 0 flex, love it, would do it again.
  6. Going to Japan.. what to buy for FL5

Also going to tokyo in march/april, I'm hoping to grab some Endless brake pads for the fl5 at autobacs, since pads you can fit in the luggage. :P

how much did the quickjacks go down to on black friday? sort of want one myself soon, but would like a baseline price during the sales.
  8. POV: 2024 Civic Type R Night Drive to Los Angeles | City Lights

i'm sorry but the way you hold your steering wheel... :X can't be safe. you're probably trying to protect your alcantara but it's just a wear item, and easily replaceable.
  9. Beginner DIY tool recommendations

Hey all! I'll keep this short. I want to start working on my own car (fl5). I want to be able to do my own oil changes, change out my 2 wheel sets without taking it to a tire/wheel shop, do some modding DIY, prep for track day (Got 2 under my belt now!), etc. Here's the list of things that I...
  10. Sound Deadening Project

Could you do a video on how you removed the rattling in the seatbelt adjuster driver's side?
  11. FX3D rock guards

welp, it wasn't easy but i finished after 2 hours. I would've loved some more 3m tapes, honestly I wiped the CRAP out of that area and heated it up before taping but it still felt like it was adhering properly. Since we only get 1 shot with the tapes it felt like there was 0 room for trial and...
  12. FX3D rock guards

But what is the technique you used with 2x screwdrivers? I understand that it will break. But I'm having a hard time even breaking them. Yes, I'm weak lol. Are ya'll still trying to put something under the screw itself, or into those tiny 'divots' in the top that you can put something into? I'm...
  13. FX3D rock guards

Just got mine, and I'm kind of stumped on the step where you need to remove the push type plastic fasteners (front). I have the pry tools but the tool (or a flat-head screwdriver) can't get under neither of the fasteners to pull them out. Any tips here? I'm kind of stuck here. @KhaoS2K
  14. How Does Driving Experience Compare?

I got my FL5 2 weeks ago. Before that, I had a porsche 981 S with the PDK for 4 years. I loved the mid-engine balance, especially as a weekend car where I'd take it to canyons every other week or so. I mainly switched out to the FL5 because I wanted a go at a manual transmission JDM car one...
  15. FX3D rock guards

Would the tape ruin the paint when/if we are to remove the mud guards in the future? If so, I am inclined to not use the tape.
