I am interested, couple questions. Is there a reason to go from the 19's to 18"s. issues rubbing, or just cosmetic? I'm lowered on Spoon springs myself with oe wheels and 20mm spacers. I live south of Cincy, would you be willing to meet halfway. Do the lug nuts come with wheels? Oh is $5500...
Just had two fl5's traded in at work. A 23 in CW with @30k, lowered, AWE exhaust. 49K sticker. A 24 in red, with @4800 miles, SSR wheels and HKS exhaust, lowered on Eibachs, clean. They are asking over 50k on that one. Yeah i work @ a "Stealership"
Been a tech for 23 years at dealer. I don't use mm on my cars. Civic just got hers changed @ 3049 miles. I"ve never heard of build fill oil benefit's before. If that is true, the motor i just replaced at work, they went a little too far. 24 CRV 1.5 turbo. They went over 20k plus before first oil...
I ordered some time in August, was delivered first week September. took about a month, same as my Spoon springs i ordered from them. Shipping was $800.00 Fed Ex for exhaust, i assume tariff's played some roll in that. Came on a pallet, big ol box!
Just installed the N1 last week, gotta say I'm really liking it so far. First off, my wife did not complain about its volume when she rode in it. She said wasn't loud, so that's a big win not hearing her complain. Got a should have sounded this way from the start sound. Looks great, too bad it's...
I just installed the Spoon N1, and i love it. The way it should have sounded factory imo. The OEM plus sound and no drone, looks great, and my wife didn't complain it was too loud. I like the looks of the rolled tips, went back and further over two or three tips. To bad its hidden, looks awesome.
I would take it back and show them. All the ones Ive had that have the recall and symptoms, the grease fixes issue. I hope they did do it, you never know. Greasing it twice won't hurt a thing thou. We have not replaced a rack with this recall for a failed repair, or continuing issue. But it...
Sweet, that's the best answer at this point. If no issues then all is good. Funny enough, I will call tech line at work for an odd issue, and even Honda has no idea how to fix issue, they build the damn things and don't know. Ghost in the machine!
Hate to say but an over rev usually kisses the valves and causes issues there. Had a buddy with a Gsr do that, also a guy a work did it with his 2.0 Accord. Accord still runs and drives but smokes like hell. He still hasn't fixed it yet lol. Says he is waiting for a customer car to come in and...
I did not scan his car when finished with exhaust, so no sorry i can't. I know no lights were on during test drive, or since. He came back and i installed intercooler with new piping and an intake with a turbo inlet pipe, all PRL and he had no issues. I will say that there were no pins in...
I assume it's a cold start misfire that goes away when warm? Need to start by pressure test cooling system and use boroscope to check cylinders 2/3 for coolant leaking into cylinders, funny enough it always seems to blow between cylinders 2/3. While not as bad as the 1.5's i have had some 2.0...
I don't believe this car was tuned. It did have an issue, dtc p0087 which was a low fuel pressure code and had a bad hpfp. When i replaced that and did all etc clear, a code for the exhaust valve was still stored but no light was on. On test drive car was fine, pulled normal and exhaust sounded...
It does set a code, but will not cause the check engine light to come on. I had a customer with a Remark exhaust and no valve in for another issue. A dtc was stored but no light on dash.
I have done so many of these recalls at work, every day lol. Only a few fl5's but a ton of crv's and civic's, hrv's etc. it does fix issue's I've seen. If you kinda hang your thumb at 9 or 3 o'clock on steering wheel with a little downward pressure the wheel will twitch, and when driving you can...
I had a customers car come in with this code, but it barely idled. hpfp failed super low miles, under 5k miles. Replaced and no issues, other then me rolling the o ring and causing an oil leak. The lpfp that is under recall for some models can easily be messed up by no fault of the tech really...
