Weird! this is going back a bunch of years but I put 216K on the suspension of a RSX type S and it still was working fairly well. In fact, nothing broke on that car, even the original clutch was good... but it was a DD and didn't flog it too hard. Sad that there is a failure at less than 5K...
That's true considering the low production numbers of the Type R. So really it's a much better investment. After driving mine for more than a year, I really like the character of the Type R engine response over my particular Vdub. They are both good but the Honda feels a bit more edgy ...
I guess there were no changes for the 2025 model?
The red and black color make it sort of a rare car if you think about it, then again I've only seen one other FL5 Type R since I bought mine and that was a CW at a car show. It will be a year in March.
I would pull the engine out now and then wire up a bunch of car batteries in series/parallel under the hood and see what she'll do! :dunno: You might need that wing back on there. :headbang:
I don't think I'm going to wait that long. I have about 3,800 miles and I'll wait until spring, although I'm not driving the car in the winter.
I think I'll just do my own oil change rather than have the shop guys flog it around the block a few times. (and they do). Mine had 7 miles in the...
Well, what I'm talking about is a series of beeps like several and it means there is a problem and it's not going to lock. Usually one nearly immediate beep means it's on it's way to locking and then there is a single confirmation beep within several seconds confirming the car is locked...
I originally had my door locking set so I could lock it by touching the door handle, but then thought the auto locking feature sounded better. I set it for auto locking and it works better for me ... but only when it actually works.
The problem is; I'll close the door and it hesitates and...
Got mine in Ohio in Feb of 2024 for MSRP. The only thing is they made me finance it, but I paid it off 1st payment, so interest was only about $300 I wish I could have paid it off like right away but the dealer made it hard to get details about the loan until later in the month.... meanwhile...
Just wondering.
I've heard of Honda dealers running the cars around the block or worse after oil changes. They sure did when I bought my car with 7 miles. I picked it up with 15 miles, not an oil change but supposedly bringing the car back from detailing.
If I use the recommended spec oil and...
Autumn is in full swing! and black is the best color to contrast with leaves...
... of course I'm biased a bit... :dunno:
I can't wait for the snow pix !!! :headbang:
