Thanks brother! That’s great news. Assumed it was an opportunity to maximize the load to dealers so guess it’s a positive that its sitting at a plant where vehicles are moving daily.
My dealer just called to inform me my car was delivered to the Honda plant in Marysville, OH and that it should arrive any day. ETA is 12/14 - 12/18, dealer in Youngstown, OH. Does this sound right? Is there a reason it would be dropped off at a plant instead of the dealership a few hours away...
@AspecR - When you have a min can you check JHMFL5G42PX000573. Dealer said Cali a week ago now it just shows on lot but its not of course. As always your help is greatly appreciated!
Guess it depends on the part of the country. I’m in SC and I was locked at 2.3 until 1 December. Currently at 3.3, so under 4% is definitely possible. If you live in a metropolitan area I’m sure the rates will be higher.
Additionally, my sales tax is capped at $500 and I don’t pay personal...
Utilize a credit union for your auto loan. Cheaper rates almost 100% of the time. You have to be a member but it cost like $25 to open a checking or savings account.
I originally had 60 month terms locked in at 2.3% but it jumped to 3.3% 1 December. Still better than any bank or Honda financing.

Yes, has shown in transit since 1 November. Which is weird as the build date was 10-12 November. Either way, it's currently in California and hopefully it can make it to Ohio by the end of the month.
In same situation. Credit union had me locked in at 2.25% for 60 months. Rate jumps to 3.25 in December and I have to reapply if not purchased by 15 December. Rate hike not terrible but still adds $1k in interest.
Receive calls daily from dealers in CA and AZ that I contacted in October. Oringal markups of $20-$30k, now willing to deal. I already have a deposit on an FL5 with a $10k ADM so I'm good. It's all relative considering I am getting more for my Si than I paid so the markup is tolerable.
Spoke with my dealer (Ohio) this morning and he informed me that my vehicle just arrived at a port in California. He has provided me weekly updates so I believe he is providing me with the information he has available.
I put a deposit down on a vehicle on 1 November and at that time the vehicle...
….also there are plenty of dealers with a $10k ADM that are not pushing ridiculous accessories with insane markups. Just stay away from the west coast!
