Loosen the axle nuts down to the last few turns of thread and swap the springs that way. I used this method on jack stands in my driveway and I had no issues. I also had a spare axle seal on hand just in case.
I will admit I was nervous going into it, my last FWD car was an 8th gen Si 15...
This is a real problem. I've got time living in new orleans, but I've previously used 11mm rubber end caps off Amazon and pushed them inside the end of the lugs to help keep water and gunk out.
Running the superspeed tuner lugs on mine. Conical seat and much lower price than high end lugs like project kics, rays, etc. I fully intended these to be a stepping stone set until I can swing some nicer ones, but so far so good and I really like the style.
I've debated the ITS module, but once I put the 18s on they feel like they added a "bounce" to the ride that wasn't there before so I switch back and forth between comfort and sport suspension settings. Maybe it's a trait specific to the yokohama v601 ??♂️
Installed the most played out wheels on the internet over the weekend.
Parking garages sure do make for some crappy photos, but the pressed graphite really pops in direct sunlight. Just wish the rear sat a little lower on the pro kit.
There's a noticeable reduction in flow, but it isn't anything earth shattering. The rear vents do have the factory flow/shutoff adjustment wheel so when it's just me in the car, I reach back and turn the vents off.
No other issues with adding the vents.

I got the parts from mikstore and followed their guide to install. Even with all the dremel work and rework it still only took just over an hour from start to finish.
The piece is stamped honda oem with a part number (could still be a reproduction though possibly). The issue is the location and number of tabs that the type r uses vs the sport touring.
You have to work at the fitment for sure. There was a lot of trial and error with the dremel when I installed the rear panel. I got it to line up 90% of the way around, but the upper left corner kept giving me issues. Nobody but myself knows that there's a very small gap right there.
Very happy with my pro kit even on New Orleans roads. I originally had no plans to lower the car, but then I got a deal on 18's that I couldn't pass up and I decided I wanted wheel gap less than I wanted to swap springs.
Ride is noticeably firmer than stock, but not harsh and some of the stock...
Got approved for a full refund and no cost return shipping so they've been dropped off at fedex already. To reference, this is what I ordered:
Don't trust recyclers. So now I'm going either brand new or trying to find a hatchback owner that wants to swap for my seats. I need 3 seat belts as...
