Rallye red is so confident and passionate, she doesn’t need the badges to immediately catch your eye from 100 yards
That’s why she’s a temptress, you have to get closer to her for the Type R badges to stand out more
Crystal black and rallye red are the top best colors, but I would still get champion white if I lived in the race track
Rallye red and crystal black are unapologetically Type R
The only thing on her that stands out are the Type R red badges on the front, back, wheels, and red brembo brakes
She is on another level
I still remember the very first time I saw a crystal black Type R (10th gen)
They’re like a whole nother car from the champion white
With crystal black...
I am in love with how the skirts, lip splitter, diffuser, vents, spoiler, etc all blend with the crystal black Type R
She doesn’t look like the body kit was tacked on or separate
She’s one unto herself and when I get behind the wheel, I also become one with her
So I did end up paying for accessories but they’re mostly protection oriented to some degree.
The other crystal black Type R, they wanted me to buy illuminated door sills, alcantera wheel, leather knob, no PPF, just trunk tray, wheel locks, etc
(They wanted $54.7k OTD)
So after all said and done, it looks like I got:
Window tint
Lo jack
Standard / basic wheel locks
PPF on all door sills, all door handle cups, both mirrors, and extra PPF on the lower corner of both rear door panels
4 all weather mats
1 trunk tray
+TTL, doc fees, etc., 54k OTD with 5 miles on...
Once I break her in at 600 I’m going to drop back down to my avg of 4,000 miles driven per year.
It’s just so difficult to drive this car during the break in period and keep it easy easy easy on everything
She’s begging me to do more and I’m like, we gotta wait a few more miles honey
I’m at about 400 miles now, I briefly burned the clutch backing up on a steep incline drive way but otherwise she is fine now. No clutch slipping
The stick is starting to shift smoother with less notch, I expect this to continue breaking in more
I’ve rung her out a few times to around 6k rpm...
Without other dealers competing for your business, walking away is one of your only chips to get them to come down on the price.
but tread lightly not to sour the relationship if you want to buy the car
I think scars can add character
why are these particular scratches so bothersome? Do they rub against your arm or something when you are driving?
regardless, sorry to hear that. Hope you get it sorted easy and painless whatever you decide to do
