if they price it closer to $1500 they will fly of the shelves
Won't be $1,500 for this level of work, but also won't be unreasonably high either. 27WON does price their products well historically.

Valved, Triple Tip, Flanged are the trifecta that everyone wants, and the build quality is craftsmanship levels.

it does look great from here, craftsmanship wise. Its definitely top of the list for me when I am ready to put an exhaust in the car

wonder how bad the drone will be with all that straight piping
Good call out. Also worth mentioning there's Interweb sound and then there's sound in reality.

This system likely drones as they nearly all do, but the question is: under which conditions and how loud (volume and tone). It will also be interesting to see how much it weighs relative to the stock exhaust.

Here we go with the drone business ?
It's a real thing that bothers people. Nothing controversial about that.

is that not a gripe for a lot of people with these cars or do you just like to be a troll?

lol I thought he was talking about the NJ Drones

Clark Kent has a good point, weight. That is something important to me, if its heavier than stock is an automatically no for me

I have to admit that yes with this platform I've seen more sensitive owners than any car community I've been apart of.
Honda made a great drone free exhaust system. If one is sensitive then why not stay oem. It's not like the exhaust will add power to a basically stock car lol

Corey and I have no complaints thus far about cabin volume, we both expressed interest in receiving units with resonated midpipes. That's the key part, you want to to keep a middle resonator in with any exhaust to mitigate drone.

Similarly, everyone's perception about Drone is different. My perception of drone for example is something that reverberates throughout the cabin and surrounds you, not a faint hum at the rear.

compared to most other cars, drone doesnt seem as bad on the fl5 imo. i have the awe touring on my fk8 and while the drone is tolerable in 6th when cruising, i most def. wouldnt take it on a roadtrip lol

The OEM FL5 exhaust is drone free but too quiet (IMO). The stock exhaust on the FE1 Si is louder and sounds better. I don't think it's unreasonable to want a better sounding after-market exhaust that doesn't drone. I'm already a bit annoyed that I need to spend more money to get the sound that Honda should have provided stock (I get the reasons why they did this). I want something that looks stock, that sounds better, but doesn't ruin the daily drivability of the car with drone. I'm hopeful that this is the one.

Because the desire for more volume and a drone free experience are not mutually exclusive.

I feel this comes with a price tag most aren't willing to pay. Spoon and Mugen comes to mind.
Is it me or do both of them sound quieter than stock lol

Touché. The willingness (or maybe ability) to pay is a curious concept on this forum. You have people in this thread hoping this exhaust will be ~$1,500. Doubtful. There's zero incentive for 27Won to sell this exhaust for less than $2,000.
