The current iteration of KW v3 are street focused, so the spring rates are definitely on the softer side.

Beautiful day at lime rock park yesterday.
Still figuring out the car and its my first time here this year. Was a couple seconds slower than my best with the m2 competition. Drivers excuses but m2 had more camber and way better tires (bridgestone re71rs vs ventus rs4) and that year I did this track 6 times. I am pretty sure I can match the time, just need more practice. Car is really good, tons of grip, I am still finding the limit. I will be honest and after 4 days I do prefer the m2 on track, its not a by far thing though, this car is really great too. Final day of the year, hopefully back bext year to match or beat my PB, just need more seat time, this year seat time was abysmally low :(

A day at the track beats a day at work! Glad you got to enjoy it.

One of the Skip Barber Instructors did a 1:02.5 in a stock FL5 with the PS4S in the summer. Said car is good for a high 1:01 with lower ambient.

thats a very good time fully stock (I mean not surprised if he is an instructor). I am stock but 200tw RS4 hankooks that are definitely have seen too many heat cycles but still better than ps4s all day), ambient temps were perfect. My best yesterday was 1:06.3 and was not very happy with it, I left a couple seconds on the table after looking at the garmin, my best on that track is 1:03ish with the m2. I am definitely slow in any car but was hoping to get a little closer, I woulda been happy with a 1:04 for the first time at lime rock with the FL5.

Yesterday was a weird day too, a corvette had an electrical fire (car was ok but he didn't have tow hook so second session was reduced to like 10 minutes), someone crashed their car into a barried, everyone ok as well so thats good, then the session before mine someone had an issue too (probably control arm) and reduced our last session to 10 minutes too and a ton of spins all day long. I think its peoples last day of the season and day was amazing so people were going for it.

All in all an excellent day, it definitely beats work and lime rock is such a good track

and I recommend actually going into a shop to try helmets and then buying.

I went in thinking I was going to get something and came out with something else, the one I thought I was gonna get did not work for me. I am a big believer now that helmets really need to be tried on, I tried like 3 or 4 and only 1 fit great.

This for sure. It was very helpful to shop in person. Also do some reading on how a helmet should fit don't assume the shop knows what to ask to make sure a helmet fits correctly.

I agree, I was lucky that the shop I went to is a great shop, the guy that helped me knew his shit and so I walked out with a proper fitting helmet.

However hard to find a shop even that sells helmets, I had to drive an hour and half but was worth it.
