I saw this too and surprised it was so much considering the Si got a $100 bump. Extra salt in the wound, thanks Honda Canada. Now the gap to ITS is less than $4k. But Ill still wait for the CTRThe MY2025 page is now up on Honda Canada’s website. MSRP increase of $1,470 to $54,766 total (freight & PDI included).

Have you heard anything from your dealership about your allocation?I saw this too and surprised it was so much considering the Si got a $100 bump. Extra salt in the wound, thanks Honda Canada. Now the gap to ITS is less than $4k. But Ill still wait for the CTR![]()

Pardon me for the OOTP! I just wanted to share and invite BC (LM but everyone is welcome) Type R owners this coming Saturday. Me and @Shichi will be attending the event. Details are posted (picture attached):
PS: I’m not affiliated with the event, just thought I’d share and meet you guys before rainy season starts here in BC. See you there! ??

I forgot to snap pics cus I was too busy strikin a convo with @惹Raizzelle but it was a decent showing. Everyone was respectful and some very nice spoon/mugen builds were there. Made my car seem so stock lololHow was the meet? Pictures!
WTF, that is $71k OTD even before the dealer starts bending you over. Even if they were actually available (which around here I gather they are not) that is $26k more than an Elantra N OTD. I don't doubt it's a slightly better car but that difference is insane. The MY2025 page is now up on Honda Canada’s website. MSRP increase of $1,470 to $54,766 total (freight & PDI included).
I hope that's the price they're charging for it.2025 Type R landed! Richmond Honda in BC has one

No shame in it man, it’s a good problem to have! It’s good to hear you’re enjoying your GRC—if you do end up pulling your deposit back, it sounds like the dealership will honour the next person on the list and that person will be happy too. ??My local deal called me yesterday. The salesman asked me he I was still interested in buying the Type R for the deposit I gave 2 years ago…
Problem is that I bought a 2024 GR Corolla circuit edition and I love it.
I knew this day would come as I have been the next in line since I gave the deposits (at Honda and Toyota) 2 years ago.
The idea was to buy the first one that shows up and trade for the other one if I did like it.
I wish I could have both, but I believe I will have no other choice than asking for my deposit back.
The type r is the only color I wanted; white. This is just sad![]()
I suspect there is no one in line, but it is possible. My understanding is that they were not taking other deposit because they knew they would only get one for 2024. I’m pretty sure the car is a 2025 as they didn’t get any 2024. My neighbour bought the only 2023 allocation the received, that was late 2022.No shame in it man, it’s a good problem to have!
