The objective is to be 400 -450 horsepower with a target torque range of about 350 too the wheels.
This is my first fwd honda.
I'm considering buying hondata upgraded fuel system with the cams. That way I can run full e85 without needing to mix % of E and regular gas. My reasoning is with just a dp, and ic I think it's capable of those numbers.

I'd like to hear from those who are making at least 400 how are you doing it what is your combination to get there.

With straight e-85 on the stock turbo 400whp is doable.

This is an easy one and lots of fun!

The 27WON Kuro will make ~420whp on 93 octane and ~470whp on an E30 blend

** Fueling upgrades would be required to use an E30 blend. It's a big step up in cost - https://www.twostepperformance.com/products/fuel-system-upgrade-for-2017-honda-civic-type-r-fk8

The 471 WHP pull shown above utilizes the quick spooling 27WON Kuro. The 529 WHP pull uses the slower spooling but higher top end producing RV6 R660. Both torque and WHP can be limited as desired during the custom tuning process.

I like the way you think. I'd really like to see some other turbo options come out before I upgrade. However want something that spools quick and still pulls.
I had hks 3037s on my evo and it was perfect.

I run a MHI stage 2 turbo and make over 400whp. So there is power to be made with other options just have to choose the one that works for you.

@Tougefl5 400whp can be done on stock turbo. Only thing after that it'll start to run out of efficiency and just blow hot air. I plan on running the MHI Stage 2 or RV660 turbo when I do upgrade.

I ran a MHI 18k turbo on my EVO X and it spooled like stock.

The MHI for the type R spools decent. At around 3800-4000 rpms.

Do you run the stock bypass valve?
Stock bpv but want to upgrade it for peace of mind.

Does it keep pulling to redline or does it fall off ?
Pulls to redline no problem currently revving to 7200rpms. But once I install the injectors I will probably bump it to 7400rpms

have you tried using nitromethane? it's only $76/gallon

but, for real, you're going to need a turbo and a tune and maybe bigger injectors.

Well to be fair what he asked is achievable on a stock turbo. Super aggressive but doable.

how much WHP can RV6 R660 get with tuned 91 octane?
