Does the unit come with installation instructions? I've looked at all the Acura parts places and haven't found any instructions.
Doubtful. Parts typically do not include instructions. It's the accessories that typically have installation guides readily available. There's a video or high-level guide floating around on the forums you can lean on.

While the part is in the same spot as the FK8 do not follow those instructions for rear panel removal. The quarter panel plastic unbolts on the FL5 and uses minimal clips compared to the FK8. You do have to remove the seat bottom but it’s pretty easy.

I would advise removing the negative battery cable. There is an airbag in the panel you remove and would hate for that to explode because you moved it too much.

Anytime you remove harnesses (the ADS in this case) it’s a good idea to remove the battery cable as well.

Havent anyone opened a stock ADS module yet? because usually, solenoid control means that the circuit has means to adjust output current. usually circuits that control current have a calibration resistor. This could be replaced to make the car softer or harder, or even be replaced with a digital potentiometer to adjust via a simple arduino controller

Its in my plans, but not for now, since I have to get the cooling sorted out first, but if someone has a spare ads unit and can post a high quality picture of the board, it would help

I currently have 2 orders for ITS damper modules and one of my orders is in and apparently ready to ship. I was going to wait until confirmation of shipment and then cancel the 2nd order, but If there is someone that needs or wants an ITS damper module I will keep my 2nd order active. Hit me up .... I have been trying since August of 23 to get one.

I have an order in with All Discount Parts--any chance your extra order is with them? Would love to take your spot in line, if possible!

As it turns out it is. I have no problem with that provided I get a confirmation of shipping on my other order.

YES!!! Dibs! Debbie just confirmed they have “a very long waiting list for this part”, happy to wait for your spot (I’m waiting regardless).

Thank you!

You got dibs. I'm hoping to get a tracking number in the next couple days. I'll let you know how it shakes out. Where in Ohio are you ?

It’s super easy to install. Took me 30 min or less. Remove the 2 screws for rear tray. Remove the rear seats. A few 10mm and a bolt through the seat rod. You will need a trim tool to pop up the seat carpet It it attached to the seat this must be done before the bolts. The drivers side rear side airbag plastic must come out. 1 bolt down under the seat you removed. 1 bolt under a plastic square cover. After that it’s 2 10mm holding in the module and a clip. EZ PZ

Its not as harsh in comfort. I now can have people ride in the car. Before it was just to rough, best $200 mod.
