Congrats on hearing some good news, hope it's just a matter of time before others start getting their VINhaving hard time searching forums, if anyone has some good links for parts to get for the car, please link me up. I mainly need to figure out what kind of oil catch can to get, and the big one. Do rust proof, do not not, or just rust proof with dealership? I dunno how i feel about drilling holes in the car with Rust proofing locations such as Rust Check.
is this what you mean by coolant overflow? if not, please let me know. I never heard of those.Congrats on hearing some good news, hope it's just a matter of time before others start getting their VIN
for parts, I would say start with Unity Performance they're Canadian re-seller of major brands and very nice to work with and they have experience with the parts they sell on their own test cars...I am starting with essentials first, like PPF, wheels and tires for winter, rock guard in the vents, tux mats, the first engine bay change i would do (not even calling it a mod) is the coolant overflow as that has been cracking for a lot of people.. and I doubt Honda addressed it... after that I am probably going to do suspension and then after that gonna get parts slowly and watch for community feedback and once I have enough I will be doing them all at once along with a tune... but that's more like a 5 year plan and I am slowly going to build up for track days
For rust proofing most of the subframe stuff is aluminum so you wouldn't worry too much and if you do wanna do it, i would go with krown
yes! there are a lot of posts and threads about the plastic OEM cracking at the seam, the issue is also present on the Integra DE5s ... my hunch it's not a day 1 issue but as people started driving hard after 1k kms or possibly took them on track... pressure and heat build might have caused it... Honda is replacing them under warranty but that's not resolving it... if the same new part fails again... so I was thinking of going with thisis this what you mean by coolant overflow? if not, please let me know. I never heard of those.
Thanks!

Hope it works out!My (small) Honda dealer recently informed me that there’s an incoming FL5 next month, but I’m second in line. If the gentleman in front of me backs out, then it’s mine.
If he takes it, “my” allocation might not ever come. A lot of sleepless nights for the next month…
Yeah, it's glorious. Porsche has a similar tracking system with photos of your actual car when it comes out of the paint booth and when it's fully assembled and ready to be prepared for transport. While a nice touch, there's a sense of calm, for me anyway, not knowing when the car will arrive. It removes the obsession element. When I purchased my first M3, I obsessed over it's arrival to the point where it probably wasn't all that healthy for me mentally and/or psychologically. I called the BMW Customer Support line so many times confirming status (they could see updates before it hit the website - 24-72 hour lag), I knew the names of the 5-6 people who answered the phone by their voice. I think I embraced the newness of that novelty. On subsequent vehicles, I didn't bother checking. When I got the call, I got the call.I found this to be interesting how the BMW G80 community can track their M3 delivery
Wish we had something like that

Ya that doesnt really translate for us Canadians who have been waiting for over 2 years already and might not ever get one at all.Yeah, it's glorious. Yeah, that was very fast...initially it was said arrival in 3 months with a best case of December’s end, which is early.Wow 16 days from production and you got it? That’s fast. Do cars come from factory with accessories? I’m worried, I hope mine has none. I honestly wouldn’t even pick the accessories if they were free. I sure as hell wouldn’t pay 20k for them.
Congrats tho. What colour? Hope you post pics when you see it!
