If someone is looking for championship white CTR near Nashville talk with Patten Thompson at Honda of Murfreesboro. He has one arriving. I am in KC and almost pulled trigger with him due to lack of inventory but one showed up in KC (Jay Wolfe) just as I was pulling trigger. Patten was super responsive, fast, and will work with you. A true professional. Probably can get something between $5-6k over over with a mix of ADM and accessories....maybe better.

If you're not in the same region take this with a grain of salt.

For reference, we've only received about 30 of these cars total in WA state for 2023 MY based on what I've seen pop up in the trackers. They are very rare up here and the markup is still high.

Many of the MSRP-5K Markup deals are in regions that are getting 10-20 cars at the same time. My guess is that we'll see a $2000 MSRP increase for 2024 models at least.

Why would they go up $2k? Another year = more cars = the demand is going down. The one I’m going to look at this week has been sitting since September 9th.

Because every model year gets more expensive. You can thank inflation and the cost of raw materials/borrowing costs being higher. I’m only talking about 2024 models going up.

It almost seems like there are going to be little to no ADM soon almost the way people are posting some deals lately. This time last year deals weren’t even close

Last I saw HFS (Honda Financial Services) offering 5.9 - low 7's on the Civic Type Rs. Credit unions may offer lower. Rates are high as we know right now. Everywhere else on other vehicles outside of Honda, it may range from 6-9%... At times higher... Example credit union PenFed attached:

It’s 7.9% with Tier 1 credit from Honda Financial Services. Civic Si and Type R no longer qualify for 5.9%

7.9% for any months or 7.9% for 84 months
7.9 for 72 months, it’s gets higher for 84 months and it gets 1 point less for 60 months. Financing for 24-48 months gets you 1 point less than financing for 60 months

This is probably not going to be as exciting to people outside of Chicago area, but there's a CW coming into the dealership where I got my FL5.. If you are anywhere in the area and can take advantage of their dealership perks, they are amazing...

Free loaners for Any service (including just oil changes). Free pickup and delivery of car for any service (I haven't tried this one yet -- but i already got my free loaner for just an oil change, so i know that's for real...plus, their app is showing that i have all this available in my account). Free car washes any time their car wash facility is open (i've used that on my CBP lol).

It also includes Perma Plate.

It's 7k ADM (NO surprise charges beyond that), but it was totally worth it to me for it being local and for all the perks.

HONEST sales person who held my deal in Chicago area. He was upfront about the ADM right from the start...held my place in line and the price was the same as what he quoted when the car finally came in...AND, HE STAYED IN TOUCH WITH ME the whole time! NO hidden fees or surprises. Yes, there was an ADM, and yes, it's more than the 5k some people here are getting... but that was agreed upfront, and nowhere near the 10-15k that most major cities want.

If you are interested...

p.s. - if you are not in the area, i don't know if they would go lower on the ADM, but you can try... ;)
