You'd think so but my local dealer has had their white one for about a month for 5K over.

I think interest rates are really starting to effect sales.
If high interest rates is keeping someone from over paying for a car 5-10k, they shouldn’t be buying it in the first place.

Im sure everyone appreciates the life advice. Its not just interest rates its overall lending policy. You are going to likely see more banks fail and money dry up from the system. Lending standards are tightening up big time. Its used and new car disaster around the corner. Going to be really tough for even good credit customers to take out a loan.

Waiting for 2024 as well. If cali gets a red for 5k msrp or close, I would consider passing up on my out of state deposit for +2k msrp?
Get in contact with Goudy Honda.

They sold 2 BB's this month for 5k over, I know they just got a RR CTR.

They'll probably not be looking to move at 5k unless it sits, but worth a shot. I dealt with PK and she was very helpful, called me as soon as they decided to lower to 5k on the BBs.

I've wanted this car really bad since the reveal. I've had a deposit for $5k over MSRP for 11 months. Dealer screwed me a month ago by not selling me the car that was supposed to be mine. I had already made up my mind that I would wait for the '24s however I sent an inquiry to a different dealer on a whim. Was contacted the next day and their pricing was $20k over. I told them I had a deposit for $5k over and after speaking to the manager they matched it. I should be picking it up in 9 hours barring any issues!

In the past year I have called over 250 dealers on the east coast. I have two deposits (for $5k over) waiting for allocation all this time and here we are...

Wish me luck!

Thanks for the tip. Gave them a call and they're asking 7k atm. I offered 5k, well see what happens next ?

Update: the AM reneged on initial $7k and said they want $8K now. Chances are they follow this forum and are trying to adm on there adm. No hard feelings though. Hopefully it sits and they come back and accept my offer?. In the meantime I'll do what I do best:

thanks for the update! Hope it works out for you bud, I know they had the blue ones sitting for 2-3 months before. It seems harder and harder for people to get loans and what not. Also probably a lot of the buying market is also slowly drying up.

I hope everyone that wants one can get one. That’s the whole point of Honda making this car.

Anyone looking for Championship White?
There are several in transit around the country right now.
I know some of the local dealers and in the past, at least 2 of them have given higher prices over the phone than they actually were charging for the deal when i went in person.
they will all be at least 5k over... just don't know how much til i talk to the reps i know.

I do have a contact at one of them who's an honest player (no bait-n-switch).

I'm not going to go through a bunch of work unless someone is truly interested. but, if any of you are serious, plmk asap.
