So I got it today, after seeing it in person it was a very clear "GO" for me.. After seeing the Type-S I really had my doubts..
But the Type-R looks special and looks better in person. I can't get past that clip on fender. The type-r just looks MUCH more masculine in person.

I can only think of 2 questions so far, is there any way to have it get brighter when I open the door to get in at night?
I have very little light when the door is opened. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.. No overhead light turns on. And there's no way to change the ambient lighting correct?

Also, has anyone wire tapped into the mirror for a radar detector?? It doesn't have any power in the mirror, so unsure if it's even possible..Thanks guys!!

Also, I have a couple of light rattles, I think I fixed one that was by the rearview mirror I noticed when accelerating. I also have a small one when I hit bump by my left knee in the dash I think. I'm very picky with that stuff so i'm sure most wouldn't be bothered.

Overall VERY pleased! Just need exhaust and a tune asap LOL.

Sweet! Curious as to your impression on how it drives compared to the Integra Type S thoughts you posted about the other day.

It felt similar driving it besides the seats.. The seats are 100x better in the Type-R.. The shifter felt nearly the same as well. Very close to the GT3, extremely precise with no slop. It seemed like the CTR had 30-40 ft lbs of torque on the Type S, but i'm sure that's just tuning.

I’m not gonna lie and tell you not to expect some rattles. However, if you’re patient and handy in the garage (as it appears you are), the rattles are not difficult to fix with some time and care. There’s a thread here with good info as well as you tube vids.

Ahh gotcha, how difficult is that to do? I've never done it that way.

It was REAL bad at first, vibrating unbearably, I messed with the mirror some and it went away good thing.. I don't trust dealers taking the dash apart to fix a rattle.. It would come back with 3 new ones lol.

quite easy tbh... just need to remove some trim... the hardest part was actually finding a place to ground the cable... grounded the cable in one of the panels on the side by where the hood release is.

Make sure the switch on the overhead light is set to "Door", not "Off"...
Didn't even see anything by the overhead lights. I will have to look again. Thanks!
