Some car protection garbage (ceramic coat). What kind of accessories should I ask for?
Anything you would actually want. Look through the catalog and see. For me, getting the CF wing would be huge, but that seems unlikely.

Would be nice to get the CF wing at cost as listed on the Honda site (or any accessories for that matter) and do the install myself. Most the cars I have found have the wing but it is listed as a $4k option which is an insane markup.

4K for the wing alone is insane. Do they just hope ppl drool at the idea of carbon fiber and slap a number on it

Yeah, I don't know what is going on. Seems like a bunch of the Hendrick dealers in the mid-Atlantic and South East have this same pricing. They list the car as MSRP/no ADM but they jack up the accessory/labor costs. $4k for wing and $6k for the forged wheels. The wing takes like 5 minutes to install, a $2k markup is ridiculous.

Not yet. Why?
I exchanged emails with a SA a few weeks back when they had a CW and BB available. They seemed pretty entrenched on their ADM at the time.
When i went in person, they gave me a quote that was much lower than over the phone. It was for the CW.

Hello, I have a deposit on a championship white in MA, salesperson called me and said it's arriving between 6/28 and early July. If anyone has a deposit on a crystal black pearl and wants to swap let me know!

Hope someone takes you up on it.

Ya know... you might wanna try calling local dealers with black and seeing if they had any people on their list who would be buying their car "if only it were white" (or if only it wasn't black)... you could help make that sale while getting you the color you wanted!! worth a try...

In Transit
Crystal Black Pearl

MSRP: $43,795.00

Silko Honda

there's also one in transit to Branford, CT. You should ask.

@1971Camaro I tried calling a few dealers yesterday to see if they could match my deal, no luck. I'll give that dealer a call. White was actually my first pick, but my current car is white (which I've had for 10 years) and maybe having something different would be nice. If I don't find a black one I'll just stick with the white one.

@Estoril4 Thanks for the offer, but It's either black or white for me lol

If anyone on here has a deposit on a black one and originally wanted white (I know it's the most desirable color), just let me know in the next few days, thanks

Clinton Honda in NJ has a decent deal on a BBP FL5. No ADM, $5k options selected by buyer, $1.1k in dealer protection crap. I figured you could get options you want or get something you can resell to recoup some of the expense.

Does requiring financing through them and a trade-in. I didn't mind the financing part as I will be paying off whatever loan I get in short order once my current car sells. They did low-ball the hell out of my trade-in, like 30% lower than current private sale going rate, which killed the deal for me.

Mandatory trade-in with a lowball offer is just a sneakier way to add on the ADM.

Hello all, I've decided to stick with the championship white as I believe it's gonna be different enough from the standard white cars I'm used to. Although black looks amazing, more mature and classy due to everything matching, in my opinion. After calling around for a week morning till night (about a month ago), I got my current deal for around 54.5k otd, 6k markup. I couldn't spend more than a week calling dealers because it was driving me crazy dealing with the dealerships. The car arrives in about a week or less. I also have a refundable deposit on an integra type s for msrp when that was announced. Do you guys think 6k is fair in this current market? Obviously no markup is fair I understand, but since this is a limited car that will hold it's value better than the type s, should I go with the type r over the type s at msrp? I'm having last minute doubts about the type r due to the markup I'm paying. This is only my second car after my mazda 3 which I've had for 11 years so that's why its a tough decision, I don't switch cars often. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
