oh i know lol, but the fact my car moved through georgia in 2 days and now in florida means it's on an active trail...really hoping it shows tomorrow so i can enjoy it this weekend with the wife since we are off

God if it shows up tomorrow that will be such a troll move. I work at the hospital in the ER and literally took the weekdays off this week because I thought it would be coming in by Wednesday or today. So I am going to be working this weekend which means I will be getting slammed with patients. Will be super pissed to know I have to deal with all of the chaotic weekend BS at the hospital knowing I cant even pick up my car. So stupid.

That was the first dealer I worked with but they would not take a deposit over the phone and I was not trying to race 3hrs to put a deposit down. Worked out as I found the color I wanted at a reasonable $10k over ?

My dealer just called to inform me my car was delivered to the Honda plant in Marysville, OH and that it should arrive any day. ETA is 12/14 - 12/18, dealer in Youngstown, OH. Does this sound right? Is there a reason it would be dropped off at a plant instead of the dealership a few hours away? Just more irritated now. Wish he would not have called ?

That’s good news lol, cars that go through plants normally move a lot quicker. Ask anybody waiting on a HRV vs a civic

Waldorf Honda in Maryland has a Boost Blue that just arrived last night. Went to check it out today.

Seeing it in person really sobered me up to the “it’s just a car” reality. Dealership was asking $17,000 over MSRP which is the money I had set aside for a down payment.

After seeing it in person I realized how putting myself in debt for what is ultimate just “a car” is ridiculous, I prefer looking at money in my account to having a fun car.
But anyone who’s in the DMV and wants one should feel free to reach out to them.
