Yeah, so in Canada they can't technically can't charge more than MSRP, however there's a lot of loop holes around it and dealers have been marking up cars especially because of the supply issue. Before the supply constraints you were able to either get the car at MSRP or cheaper and if you want to add accessories, you can but they didn't force it on you.
For example, they add on a whole bunch of random crap like 3 year key fob warranty for 5k or something like that and if you don't purchase the car with that add on, then they move down the list until someone takes it. Another common loop hole is they list it as 'used' and can list the price at whatever they want it to be at.
Not sure what world that you live in but suggest you check out what was the final OTD price for the very first 2022 NSX Type S sold for in Canada as it was certainly not MSRP and well beyond my comprehension?

What did the 100 Limited Edition 2021 Honda CTR's sell for in Canada over a year ago as it was certainly not MSRP?

I remember ordering a 2016 Shelby GT350R from a Ford dealership in B.C. and they were very comfortable with adding on an ADM for that car without any second thoughts.

Ordered a 2017 GT350R and 2018 GT350R from Canada and also had a difficult time getting an MSRP deal therefore have no idea what technology issue that you refer to regarding an ADM for HP vehicles in recent years in Canada?

I reached out to all the dealerships on carguru. The cheapest type r was 54k before tax title transfer.
I've reached out to Desert Sun Honda (formally Jack Key Honda) a few months ago and they mentioned they don't think they get one, but maybe try them again. The salesmen mentioned first come first serve and MSRP....check them out again; they are in Alamogordo, NM...where I got my FK8...good luck.

I was quoted 61k OTD so they are slowly coming back to reality.

I've had one dealer contact me 3 days in a row basically begging me to take their 56K OTD offer. I keep telling them the same thing.

"My offer is $49,900 OTD or $53,900 OTD with the forged wheels."

Today the the guys said what if I can do 56K OTD with the wheels, I said no and repeated my offer again.

It's a rip off. Sales guys number is 615-913-5986. Not sure the dealer, I have been deleting their text once I laugh at their ADMs.

I've had to talk to 70+ dealers at this point. I gave them all my standing offer even if it's a year from now.

Somewhere in Nashville. If I didn’t have a deal already done I’d be on that shit RIGHT NOW lol.
