Yeah I told him I'm in line at an MSRP dealer and I'm willing to o pay some markup for the ability to have it now but not at 10k.

I lived in the area for 6 years so I have many friends there. My FK8 friend was gonna wait for the FL5, but when he found the FK8 with <15k miles for $42k just went with that. Dealers were telling him $20k adm at the time, lol. The area (DMV as a whole) has quite a few car enthusiasts and people with deep pockets.

Capitol City Honda in Olympia, WA just sold their SGP, but they said they should be receiving two more by the end of the year. Asking 10k ADM for now.

Hard pass.... typical dealers in San Diego.... Poway Honda also has the same color and they want 20K over... Ball Honda has a Black on still wants 25K over with add-ons. and other dealers in the area have been selling in the 10k + department... and have sold them already.. doubt SD will have any dealers that will sell under 10K ..... sad but true

For Atlanta folks , Snellvile Honda still has a boost blue available. They called me today though i told them i had sealed a purchase already. If your interested. I was working with Key Brown(you can say jeff sent ya). She said 8ADM and 2k accessory but sounded like they could be a bit negotiable. If you think its worth a try go for it.

Tempted to call tomorrow. I haven't signed the final paperwork on mine. But a $2k difference isn't huge from my $10k adm. If they'll go down another $3k though I'd make the drive. I'll see tomorrow if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Interesting read here. I didn't realize they are cutting back on 100% finance. That's what I did on my Teggy but I didn't have any ADM.

I went to a dealer to look at a pre owned Lexus for my GF.

I asked the guy if we pay cash if I can just get a temp plate and be on our way.

He told me...

"Honestly, we are really trying to help our lenders so everything we do is financed"

I said... vendors... like... your banks? He said yes.

I just wanted to die laughing. Dude, funk your banks. Tell you what. You don't even have to tell them I'm here. It'll be our secret.


Anyway I go down to Gaithersburg to grab beer every now and again.

Number 925 at Bellvue Honda w/ 15k ADM, which includes extended warranty to 7 years/100k miles. No wiggle room accessories now, but I think they were asking 20k a few days ago?

When I bought the MX-5 I got it below MSRP in early 2021. But I offered full cash initially and the dealer flat out told me it'd be MSRP if I paid cash. I had to finance 20k of it to get it below MSRP. In the long run it'd be only slightly below MSRP (so still a better deal), but then the interest rate was only 2.8% at the time. Still wild they wouldn't take straight cash so easily.

I won’t be paying more than 50k otd for one. I’ll wait. I’ve been driving my 05 rsx type s for too long to get bent over by a dealer.

Ask for lube to be included in the sale. You won't feel it.
