Anybody have an idea which port that Southeast cars will come through? Are they all going to be Richmond, or something different?

THey're all going to pass through Richmond, then travel by truck and train to get to the East Coast.

East coast cars land in 2-3 weeks

Excellent. And hopefully some are currently en route in the middle of the ocean or about to dock in port.

If we need some "drama" to hold us over, last night I took my Mustang up to the Honda dealer to look at trade-in value while we wait for my Type R to come in. It seems there is a discrepancy with the mileage reading on the Car Fax. It lists the mileage from the state inspection last week as being a lot lower (they left off a whole digit). This meant they could only offer about $4k until it's fixed (a lot lower than it should be, understandably, it would be a risk for them). I called the Ford dealer (where I bought it and get it inspected) and everything is correct on their end. So now I have a case open with Car Fax to correct the issue, but that can allegedly take a while.

I can still buy the FL5 outright and it would be no problem. I would just pay down the loan once I get the Car Fax corrected and the Mustang sold, but I would rather finance less. Hopefully it's a quick fix and I can get it sold (or traded) before signing all the final paperwork with my bank and the dealer. Maybe it's a sign to also keep the Mustang? It's long been paid off and doesn't cost me much with insurance. The only issues would be the car I want to drive may be blocked by the other one and which car do I keep in the garage? 1st world issues.

If this is the only hiccup in the whole buying process, then it hasn't been too bad.
Imo keep the Mustang. Obviously I'm biased because I'm doing the same thing ?

Have you thought of getting there earlier than you promised and go through PDI together with your dealer? Because I want to be there so they promised me that I will be the driver when Honda is filling the gas tank lol

the car actually showed up yesterday around noon. :banghead: ; So I actually wanted the car yesterday and rush over immediately, but my sales said his guys can't get to the PDI till today...which coincidently, along with yesterday, were his days off. I think he, my salesmen, just wanted to personally deliver the car, and that's probably why I was asked to wait till tomorrow?

Anyways, I have to find a way to fit (4) forged wheels and a wing in the back (with seats folded down). His tech said no way they will fit...

I'll bring my tablet and try to post when I get there.

Sweet! Would you be willing to share your thoughts when you get it? I know we got a review from another poster but it would be cool to get a perspective from a FK8 owner.

4 wheels will definitely fit in it. The wing is gonna be the problem. Can't leave it with them til you're ready to install?
