Ooof 60k$ OTD for a Civic. How do you guys justify it being 32k$ more than an SI?

I called over 15 dealers they would not budge below $10k ?

I called my salesman to get my deposit back and he convinced me to keep the spot in line for now. He hadn't heard news of the pricing yet (they've got #070 on the way) and didn't believe me that it's basically $44k with destination, hah

He's estimating mid 2023 for me (I'm 3rd in line) and feels there is more of a chance they can come down on ADM by then considering the high MSRP. I'm having trouble seeing how I'd ever go CTR over GRC at this point but no need to be hasty.

I think MSRP is going by to be difficult even if you wait. Didn’t the FK8 go for over MSRP before COVID/chip shortage? I recall the 1997 Integra Type R having a markup as well.

YES! I don't know if this is a funny attempt to get people "out of line" (not likely). But waiting for the price to go down is what made people not buy the FK8. We've even heard from people on this forum say that they won't make the same mistake and warned others not to either. The price on the FK8 kept creeping up. Finding an owner willing to part with it for anywhere close to what they bought it for, would be a forehead slapper.

So guys more cars are still being added. 3 Florida dealers just got their allocation for Black ones. I'm confident the VINs will be updated over the coming weeks

Others were invited but they haven't released videos yet. I guess those guys wanted to be first in line

wish I had that when I was contacting dealers to get a reservation.
Honda community is strong!

Yesterday Midlands Honda in SC quoted me $4k ADM plus $4k accessory package, which I was briefly considering. This morning, without me contacting them, they sent me this. tl;dr they bumped their ADM to $20k and are still asking for $3585 in added equipment. These dealers have some nerve for sure!
