Nobody needs a back up plan!

You get a Type R, you get a Type R... everybody gets a Type R!!!!!

Hard to count with the moving camera, but I counted about 15 rows and 18 columns, which means there's about 270 cars there. Not bad for a single shipment at a single port right?

That looks promising! Is the launch always this tightly controlled in terms of staging or people just don’t care about other trim levels of Civics?
Releases are like this on a redesign. Less so on a refresh.

I have several customers waiting for several different trims of Civic. Most would've taken '22 if they could've.

Civics never make it to the lot for us. They are all sold or have an agreement to purchase before they are built.

Until we realize that those are the only ones we're getting...

You can't go wrong with an M2, that could be a collectors piece in the future. Can't even compare gr86 to it, that's not even a sports car. And supra is just a BMW anyway :p
for sure. But I think the first gen m2 LCI will be the one to get imo. I think the design certainly looks more attractive and I much prefer the classic gauges vs Ipad screens.

The Circuit edition feels about $2k more expensive than it should be... I would've had the Core at $34,500, Circuit at $39,000, and Morizo at $48,000 Thoughts?

I agree. Standard diffs and a carbon roof for $7k? Seems a bit steep. I’d probably opt for the core and add the diffs. I think it’s an $1,800 option.

$1200. I'd just want that hood and spoiler for the "not a base corolla" vibe. And they grey color, too

I personally don't get the GRC. it's wait too rushed and overpriced. I'd wait for another 2 to 3 years for the model to mature.

Also, maybe this has no relevance to the GRC, but after the issues they've been having with the GR86, I'd be a little nervous getting a GRC atm.

its kinda gutless for a 40k performance car. Its power figures are def overrated at 300hp seeing its about on par on acceleration with a GTI. If I'm paying 40k for a performance car it better trap least 110mph. I know straight line isn't all that but getting walked on by Miata would be embarrassing.

Thought this would be good to share for those looking to go N's.

Not trying to stir up shit, but showing what reliability looks like currently for KDM stuff.

The key word here is "QUARTER", this isn't even ANNUAL.

Thing is earlier gen of Theta engines were pure hot garbage. It was made by Mitsu, Chrysler and hyundai... I mean what could go wrong? and they slapped on a 10 year 100k powertrain warranty.

Honestly, the new-gen has shown similar issues (VN's and such). Purchasing a new N that hasn't even gone through the paces to see all the gremlins doesn't really bode well when a company is spending ~$10B ONLY on engines annually. DCT's already having a stop sales attached is not making the case for these any better IMO.

As an enthusiast and educated buyer, why would you even potentially want to deal with this hot mess?

Maybe just me, but this looks like a dumpster fire just waiting to be ignited.

I do love that the K20 turbo is tried and true at this point. Makes the FL5 a bit more attractive especially for those who plan on keeping for a long time (forever?) like myself
It's one the reason I don't mind get the "first run" of the car. They've had that engine since the FK2 model and it's on its third iteration now.
