A lot of these dealerships are doing this. It's going to be a long list of add-ons. Thornhill Honda did the same thing at $70K.

I've read that some dealerships (US) are expecting to receive MY25 unit into early 2026. Curious to know if it's going to be the same for us or Honda's finished with us here in Canada.

Prices have come down a lot of the current lot of barely used units. Now would be a good time for would be owners to try to get one.

I get it. There is something special about being the original owner. Especially with this latest type R being such a remarkable vehicle.

Yup, I understand that too. That said, I opted to do the latter and the awe and wonder were the same for me. More importantly, it's the anticipation of driving and sitting in the drivers seat that does it for me. Since acquiring the car, I've made changes to her make my own. No regrets!

For me, I don't see myself getting another new or newish car. The direction the industry is going currently make me want to keep what I have and go out and get a golden era Honda. The rawness of those older cars just can't be duplicated.

Went to Cornwall Monday and they had a red CTR in the showroom.

Don't know if it is sold or not as I was in a hurry and there just to pick up brake fluid...

They also had a ~2000 super clean Prelude!

All that effort and $ to import a Boost Blue to get nothing more than any other local car...brilliant.
