Wipers or Wiper Inserts?

I need to replace my wipers. Went to the local dealer a couple weeks ago to try and get wiper insert replacements but they said they don't sell them for the Si and they wanted like $70 for each entire wiper assembly. Is this right?

Any wiper recommendations? Not trying to spend $140 on windshield wipers...

Order from Blackhawk Japan. I was able to order two sets for the same price as the dealer's replacement charges. If you have the sprayers on the wiper arms, none of the aftermarket wiper blades will fit. Even inserts won't fit, because the sliver of rubber on the inserts is too thick to fit into the stock blade assembly. Has to be OE until someone produces a blade kit that fits the sprayers.

This is my super mad face. The wipers on the 11th gen (and '25 CR-V) are literally its worst feature.

Have you looked on dreamshop? This is the new e-store, and almost always has lower prices than dealer, even if you can still elect to pick up at that same dealer.



I haven't had to buy for my FL5, but I went and found a bunch of maintenance items because it's a pain to find sometimes, and I had a hard time with my Subie.

Sounds like either they didn't understand what you were talking about or you did not explain yourself clearly...


Might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere, but they don't sell just the rubber blade for the wipers anymore, maybe for older Hondas.

When you say "Wiper blade assembly", I would think the entire arm of the windshield wiper too like the dealer.

Can always get aftermarket wiper blades from your local auto parts store.

sorry, meant the blade itself if i heard her correctly. but no refills available like on past models.

Should be the same, but I don't know if you want to pay international shipping, tariffs and then get hit with customs fees/taxes right now when buying from Blackhawk Japan.

They're just 24 inch and 19 inch wiper blades. Just get the the Honda ones from an online retailer or aftermarket.

I wouldn't buy anything aftermarket for the '24+ Hondas with the sprayer on the wiper arm. I've tried over half a dozen different brands, and none of them fit correctly. Get OE assembly or these inserts. I will say the inserts are pretty straightforward, but also equal parts a pain in the ass to install.
