Widest Tires on 18x9.5

What are the widest tires I can run on a stock height FL5 if I have 18x9.5 wheels? Can I run 275 35? Any issues with rubbing? If I decide to lower the car with those tires on, any issues? Thanks!

Currently running Eibach’s FL5 specific Sportline-kit springs (1.2 inch drop on the front and .9 inch in the rear) along with TE37 SL’s 18x9.5 +45, perfect flush fitment, with 275/35 on Falken FK460’s. No rubbing at all, so you’ll definitely be fine at stock height.

Experience may vary depending on your spring/coilovers, how aggressively you drive, and tire choices. I’ve heard that depending on the tire manufacturer, some tire sizes aren’t what they say they are and can be slightly inaccurate. So stick with good brands or ask what people are running on their wheels.

I run the same size CE28's with a 275/35/18 and have zero issues.

Can you post any pictures of your set up? I literally just picked up CE28's with those tire specs this week from FB marketplace lol. Haven't had the time to mount them yet though.

No. I'm at factory ride height. I tend to use the gators pretty aggressively on track, so I won't be lowering the car for that reason.
