My wife had an ej coupe when we met. If it wasn't for her and my witty mother, I wouldn't even be here today. I was shopping for a classic mustang, I think I was 17/18 years old at the time working my butt off for the post office warehouse. Ended up buying a Milano Red 99 Honda Civic SI.

I grew up around friends and their siblings. They were all into the import scene and I got hooked! I eventually got a 1991 CRX Si and began to mod it. I got it in black, painted it to Canary Yellow and painted it again to Nogaro Blue. I wondered why I got the FL5 in Boost Blue but now I realize that I'm continuing my Honda love with the color that I left with. Please excuse my "Chill Guy" car pose :) . Pics are from 26 years ago. Great times!

Man, mine was my buddy's like '00 Honda Civic. The first manual I learned on. He was helping me out since I was going to pick up my '12 Si from the used dealership at the time. The second car I had ever bought myself. Now I am on my Third haha.

Test drove an '83 Prelude that was awesome, but couldn't bring myself to pay more than MSRP, and my wife wasn't supportive of a manual transmission. 7 year later I convinced my mother-in-law to a 1990 Accord EX that she was quite happy with. After she died, one of her grandsons drove the daylights out of it until I took it back as a daily driver 2019 to 2023.

My Dad used to work at Honda head office for 35 years and needless to say, all we had were Honda's, so it was an easy transition for me to own them myself. First meaningful experience was in my Dad's 4th gen Honda Prelude SR-V (VTEC in the states). Experiencing VTEC for the first time was amazing as a kid, and got me interested in Honda motors and cars. I've had a modified 92 hatch with a B16A2 for a short period, then my 09 Civic Si, which I still own and drive seasonally, and now an FL5.
