The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

With the impending facelift in 2026, does anyone forsee a point where the 2025s actually dip below MSRP? I have to assume some will just hold off at a certain point.

There's a dealer in ATL still asking for $5k over on a 2024. Go figure. I am thinking that most dealers will come down to MSRP but time will tell.

i wanted to hold out for this reason but figured a new face lift will also come with a new higher cost and higher ADMs again

I am in the market for a CW CTR @ MSRP in Florida. If there was still a 2024 I would take it but appears all dealers have are 2025. I've contacted up and down FL and the ADM is $3k to $15k still. It is like Honda's raising of the MSRP over the last 2 years bears no impact to the ADM in this state! There are a couple used 2024 for sale but any used car + hurricane = ?. Not gonna roll the dice for used right now.

Where? I live in the Palm Beach County area and had to source out my FL5 from Mississippi because Ed Morse Honda (Riviera Beach), Johnson Honda (Stuart), Braman Honda (West Palm Beach) all wanted around $54k out the door which is about $4k adm. Same with Orlando area.

What was your OTD if you don’t mind and color?

Just signed the papers Monday on a new 2025 White FL5.

Will be here Monday or Tuesday.

$47,145 car with LoJack
+$389 dealer fee
+$2,900 tax (7%)
= $50,400 total for dealership
+$500 shipping to Florida

They did, 2020-2021 were different from 2017-2019.

There was a laundry list of upgrades from 2019 to 2020, per google search:

“To recap, the revised hot hatch gets upgraded suspension, brakes, engine cooling, slight bumper and aero tweaks, a new Boost Blue color, and standard Honda Sensing”

Off the top of my head: Suspension I believe was a faster system and bushings. Brakes went from one piece to two. Engine cooling was bigger grill and upgraded radiator. Color matched fascia in front and rear.

Most Northeast Ohio dealers were at MSRP the first week of Dec. I got $1k under in Boardman on their last 2025 FL5 to replace my totaled 2020 FK8. And yes, FK8 got all the aforementioned updates for the last two 2020-21 model years.

Search within 50 mi of 44106 on CarGurus or the Honda.com inventory finder. Spitzer, Cleveland Heights, and Great Lakes were all at MSRP a couple weeks ago.

I'm in the same boat and its frustrating. so many local dealers sitting on inventory and are blowing my phone up with calls & emails, yet wont negotiate lol. wild times

I think you can wait until the end of this year and negotiate down to MSRP or below.

There are 600+ FL5 R's on Autotrader in the country rn, new and used, so I don't know how any of these dealers think they can charge anything but MSRP or below.
