***SOLD!***
Mileage: ~10000mi
Location: Nashville, TN
Asking price: $46,999 OBO (vehicle is paid off, clean title in-hand)
I've decided to list my 2024 Civic Type R for sale. I purchased this car last year from a local dealer to have as a weekend / mild-prep Gridlife Street-class track car, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it, putting just over 10,000mi on it in a little over a year, which is almost exclusively highway miles to events + the events themselves (~7 track weekends), however I'm planning to run something different next year and likely won't drive this much, so despite how much I enjoy it I unfortunately don't have a lot of space in my garage and I don't think it makes sense to keep it. Please note that the steering rack recall has not been done, as I never had an issue with it and didn't want to mess with bringing it back to the dealer.
I'm listing the Type R with the modifications as I think someone else would enjoy having all the basic things done (ie, cooling / suspension / power) to make this a very enjoyable weekend car that is also completely uncompromised on the street (I'm still running the stock exhaust from the front-pipe back, and the Redshift coilovers in my opinion ride better than stock, so the car is very mild-mannered on the street). Even in this dual-purpose state I was able to podium in Gridlife Street class at Autobahn and SCCA TT at PittRace in Max 4, and I have a Gridlife track record at Mid-Ohio for FWD:
As it sits, the car is tuned on Cobb via @JST Performance and makes ~365-380whp on 93 (depending on tune/drive mode) and ~385-400whp on e30 (depending on tune/drive mode). Everything works perfectly and there are no CELs or other issues - no transmission grinds, no mechanical hiccups, etc. I've maintained the car with Redline 5w30 since the break-in period (and there have been 2 subsequent oil changes due to track use), and the transmission fluid was changed for Redline MTL at around 5000mi. The brake fluid has been changed for Redline RL600 and it has been flushed regularly.
Cosmetically the interior is effectively perfect, and the exterior is extremely clean with just a few small rock chips on the front consistent with some track use and highway miles. There have been no accidents/incidents or bodywork repairs.
Parts-wise, a full list of the modifications is below, and all stock parts are included.
The car will be sold with the stock battery (not the PC680 pictured), and the stock wheels + the Konig Hypergrams (pictured).
Additionally the following wheels are available that can be included for an extra charge (all wheels were purchased new and are in good condition, however they may have a few scuffs and are a bit dirty from track use - the tires all have various levels of wear - there is enough life across all of them to make a set for a track event but generally all tires range between 50-90% worn - tires are listed just for size reference only):
*Note* - I've received several messages about the wheels - I will sell the wheels separately but only after the car sells (assuming the buyer doesn't want the wheels).
Set 1: 4x 18x11 ET44 Black ARC-8 w/285/30R18 RE-71RS (square setup) - $1000
Set 2: 4x 18x11 ET44 Anthracite EC-7 w/285/30R18 RE-71RS + 2x 18x9.5 EC-7 ET35 w/255/35R18 (reverse stagger setup with an extra pair of fronts to balance wear) - $1400
(Please note that ~8 wheel/tire assemblies should fit in the car + the stock parts - if you want everything you'd need to plan to bring a trailer)
Please reach out with any questions and thanks for looking!
(Black OE floormats and Red OE floormats included - carpets protected with Tuxmats since new)
(Front rotors have microcracking although that has been there for awhile - NIB Girodiscs included with sale)
(Bluetooth underglow - re-live your youth!
)
