The finance, I understand, but why force someone to trade-in? What if you don't have a trade due to total loss or just adding a car? Sounds like the dealer just wants to screw the buyer on the trade-in.

We're not screwing the buyer on the trade in. I've been here 10 years and make sure to take care of my customers and make sure the value they get is at market value or more. We can make an acceptation if you don't have a trade in and have bought from us before. Sounds like you need to work with better quality dealerships.

I purchased an Si at MSRP at my dealer, with no financing and no trade-in, as a first-time customer. Later, I got the Type R, also MSRP, with no financing and no trade-in(back when everyone wanted 10k markup). It sounds like your dealership could learn from mine. These are just my thoughts, I'm not trying to pick a fight or hurt your feelings.

Unfortunately, I don't get to decide what they choose to do. If I did, then I'd sell to anyone at MSRP.

I got them to agree to no finance or trade now, so you can pay however you'd like and don't have to be in state. Also have other colors available!
