First off… WTF?!

I was looking over the bay ahead of my intake install and found these little effers. Shear-off hose clamps… Stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Anyone have a tool suggestion on how to remove these easily? I’d rather not use a dremel, and considering there are others around the engine bay, I’d like something that I can use for others.

I was able to just twist and pull the tube out without removing the clamp. Maybe my clamp is looser than it should be? Worth a try.

Does anyone know what size clamp is this? When I installed my turbo inlet I made a slit in the head with a dremel and used a flat head to loosen the clamp. I’d like to just replace it so it’s easier to remove in the future.

I did the same thing with a Dremel after removing it lol. I’m leaving it and calling it a mod.
I don’t know exactly what size it is, but I’m sure you can go into any parts store and pick one out by estimating.

Did this too. Comes right out without removing the clamp.

I removed mine and replaced it with a regular hose clamp when doing my Valve Cover.

A box of assorted stainless clamps on Amazon was relatively cheap. I’m sure one in there will work.
