Currently driving a 2023 CTR.

Need some recommendations.

I work at a dealership (bless), but its not a Honda dealership. I want to resurface the rotors before I put my new pads on, but wasn't aware that the front rotors are 2-piece. Do I turn them, flip them? Just resurface one side?

I have a trip coming up and I'm taking the Type R. Need to get these done! Any help would be appreciated!

edit 1: Just pad slapped some Hawks Performance Ceramics on the fronts. It wasn't that hard, just had to keep and eye on brake fluid reservoir when getting the calibers pushed back in. Refilled after the service.

BUT didn't have an Aultel so my rears still need to changed. Couldn't put them in service mode. UGH no where to rent one near me either and just something I can't afford atm. Just a warning to all my other CTR owners!

Buy OE Honda (they do not sell just the rotor rings)

Or you can get Rotor Rings from Paragon that works with the OE Rotor Hat. Get new hardware while you are at it

Unless the rotors are no longer true or surfaces are scored from metal on metal contact, I wouldn't recommend resurfacing rotors. New pads will wear into the existing surface within a few days.
