Looking for some help. I'll try to condense the events

Initially installed:
PRL High Volume intake
PRL Titanium inlet

Rode around for a couple of months no issue

Installed
PRL intercooler & Hoses
PRL Front Pipe
2 Step Catted Downpipe

Initially everything was good for a week or so but one morning on the highway the lanes cleared up and it was go time.
I punched it and instantly I could tell the intake did not sound correct.

I had two warning lights pop up after.
something about a problem with the emissions and another about lower power and bringing it into the dealer.

When I was installing the front pipe to exhaust, I used the old gasket. After the lights it would idle rough so I thought it had to be the gasket.
I replaced it and it did sound a lot better. But the warning lights are still up.
I got an OBD scanner and the P0101 code popped up.
I was told to try and conduct a smoke test but after calling a shop and it being 178, I started looking at youtube.

So that's where I'm at. I've created my own smoke machine but I don't know where I would push the smoke through.
Could anyone help out with that part? If you could mark up the vacuum lines I'm supposed to be using it would be really helpful.
Any other thoughts on the situation are welcome.

Thanks

I had the same error code since July and have been experiencing sputters on WOT which from my data logs, my tuner says I have a boost leak. Since then, with help from a friend, we went over every bolt from intake to inlet, turbo to downpipe to charge pipes and around. My titanium bolts were loose on the downpipe. Not sure if it just came loose from track days or that these titanium bolts and studs without loctite, come loose over time. A friend had his come loose on the track. Since tightening to torque spec, we marked it so it’s easier to inspect.

I’ve also been told to do a smoke test. Haven’t come around to do it. I’m lazy. What I’ve been told is to run the smoke through the inlet.

I might eventually have to do this. Before all this happened, my HKS charge pipes popped loose on the hot side at the track. Maybe just go through all of the bolts, clamps before doing the smoke test.

If you find something let us know. Good luck.

This sounds like you may have a boost leak. Likely from the PRL Charge Pipes. You have to tighten the ever living hell out of them. I'd recommend going through all of the silicone couplers and tightening them up.
