Good evening. Was wondering if any US fL5 owners attent to install factory park sensors? I know the bumpers are different but the electronics, is this a plug and play or does it involve a lot of wire harnesses?

the USDM, the parking sensors were saved for the Integra Type S. I assume for the FL5, you'd need to get new bumpers, the sensors, and then likely have the functionality coded to your ECU. My guess is honda likely has the code embedded. It's probably just feature locked.

I bet we will find that the Type S might plug right into some sub-harness or module. It could take some time until someone decides to try it.

You would have to drill holes in your bumper. Personally I don't find parking sensors worth how bad they make the front and rear bumpers look.

For what it's worth, the parking sensors in my DE5 were less reliable than my '23 A-Spec + Tech Integra--same garage, different cars, but much tougher to align using the sensors. I assumed it was from the sensors being rearranged for the extra ventilation.
